Wyndham Merida Hotel, Mérida

The hotel I stayed at was a mixed experience. The rooms were lacking natural light as the windows faced a blind wall, making them feel dark and uninviting. On the positive side, the service was exceptional with accommodating and polite staff. However, the location was a bit inconvenient, far from the city center, requiring taxis for transportation. The dining options were limited, and the facility did not cater well to food allergies.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The large and clean rooms with a comfortable king-size bed were perfect for my husband and myself. However, the room initially had a wet floor. The location was excellent, close to Centro Historico and Paseo Montejo, making it convenient but not noisy. The service was attentive and helpful, though there was no apology or compensation offered for inconveniences. The dining experience was mixed, with delayed service for eggs and bacon, and some confusion with reservations. Overall, a great value for money hotel with friendly and helpful staff.
